Will there be an organized golf event?

If you're interesting in playing a round (or more) of golf, please let Hayley know and she will get you connected with Jim, her step-dad, for logistics! More information to come! There will be a discount for all guests who wish to play golf.

Wait, did the dress code say ALL BLACK?

Yes!! Joel and Hayley are asking that all guests wear BLACK for their wedding celebration. This DOES NOT mean black tie - cocktail attire in the color black! Have fun with it! (Men can join us in a classic black and white palette.)

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.

IMPORTANT! If you do not have a passport or need to renew your passport, please do so right away. As of August 2024, the passport offices are taking 2-3 weeks for expedited and 6-8 weeks for standard service.

PASSPORT VALIDITY: Passports must be valid for the period of stay in the Dominican Republic.
BLANK PASSPORT PAGES: 1 page required for entry stamp.

As of September 2024 - for routine passport renewal, you can now do this online through the US Department of State! Online renewals are taking 6-8 weeks for turnaround and expedited service is not offered at this time.

WHAT ABOUT AIRFARE?

• You are required to book your own flights. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Hayley, Megan or Cara to book airfare to the Dominican Republic.
• We recommend you purchase your flights as soon as possible. You can book via your favorite airline and consider using miles or credit card points, if you have them.
• Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you’re ready.
• Please send your flight information in no later than Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
This is how I schedule your ground transportation in the DR.

There are two ways to submit your flight information:
1. Enter your flight information via the online form that will be emailed out closer to your departure date.
OR
2. Forward a screenshot of your arrival and departure fights to Cara at any time. Flight schedules MUST show the following to be accepted: confirmation number from the airline, airline, flight numbers, arrival/departure dates and times.

What about inclement weather?

Should a weather event impact a resort immediately preceding your trip, Bridie Travel would receive an inclement weather statement from the resort with details and options for impacted guests. If you are concerned about inclement weather impacting your trip please consider adding trip protection to your package.
